One of my friends just sent out her weekly newsletter. But I just read it Friday. Today she said that she floated an idea and got zero feedback. So she’s taking a break from writing, from all social media, and going to spend August reflecting on what she wants to do next. She’s looking for more paid work and less giving things away for free.

It sounded familiar. I feel like I’ve read that email hundreds of times over the last few months. Maybe we are all feeling something similar. Maybe it’s just summer time.

Maybe it’s time to touch more grass.
